Michelle Tovar-Mora

Michelle Tovar-Mora is a trailblazing first-generation college graduate, proud daughter of mexican immigrant parents, who holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is now a leading mechanical engineer in the power sector. As a dedicated mother of three young children three (ages 5, 3, and 1), she expertly juggles a demanding career with her dedication to STEM outreach, volunteering, and speaking to inspire future generations. Michelle is an avid STEM outreach volunteer and speaker, inspiring the next generation through her commitment and passion. She has held multiple board positions within professional organization including the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), along with her children’s school Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). A fervent advocate for women in STEM and working mothers. Michelle’s influence and commitment shine through her tireless efforts to empower others.
